Suzuki has developed a new motorized wheelchair, 'MIO', which features a fuel cell unit using direct methanol. Unlike the traditional lead battery, the fuel cell does not require recharging, and it enables the chair to travel more than 40km with 4L of methanol. The chair also features a stable chassis frame, a large arm rest, a round and easy-to-use handle, a comfortable seat and a large LCD. The chair will be exhibited at the 33rd Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition.
