Women's Health 2009: The 17th Annual Congress is sponsored by the VCU Institute for Women's Health and Journal of Women's Health, and is the annual meeting of the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA)(amwa-doc), an organization devoted to the advancement of women in medicine and the improvement of women's health. Congress Chair Wendy S. Klein, MD, Senior Deputy Director Emeritus of the VCU Institute for Women's Health, a National Center of Excellence, Richmond, VA and Deputy Editor of Journal of Women's Health, Co-Chair Susan G. Kornstein, MD, Executive Director of the VCU Institute for Women's Health and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Women's Health, and AMWA Co-Chairs Laurel A.
